Jessica Burger is a dedicated and empathetic Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PMHP) with over three years of experience supporting adults through life’s challenges, including depression, anxiety, and trauma. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Her academic and professional journey has been driven by a deep commitment to mental health care and a genuine passion for helping others.
Jessica’s therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a proven framework for identifying and transforming negative thought patterns. She complements this foundation with integrative practices tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, recognizing that no two individuals are the same. Jessica believes in meeting clients where they are in their journey, ensuring they feel seen, heard, and supported.
One of Jessica’s core values is walking alongside her clients during their most difficult times.
She understands the importance of building trust and rapport, offering a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their emotions, process their struggles, and uncover paths toward healing. Empathy, patience, and genuine care form the foundation of her practice.
For the past three years, Jessica has worked in private practice. Through her partnership with Leading Light, she focuses primarily on helping women and adults navigate life challenges. She has witnessed firsthand the transformative power of therapy, and her work continues to affirm her belief in the resilience and strength of the human spirit.
Mental health has been more than just a career for Jessica—it is a deeply rewarding calling. She finds immense joy and purpose in helping her clients achieve personal growth, restore balance in their lives, and develop tools to sustain long-term well-being. Her approach fosters empowerment, equipping clients to face life’s challenges with confidence and hope.
Whether it’s providing support through life transitions, healing from past traumas, or managing the weight of daily stressors, Jessica is committed to helping each client navigate their unique journey toward healing and self-discovery.
